ONDEA provides a platform for renowned entrepreneurs in the Diaspora to meet with entrepreneurs and business people within the state. Entrepreneurs across the state who are indigenes of the state or do business within the state can tap into this golden opportunity to reach out to Ondo State Indigenes in the diaspora to build business relationships, establish business and relationship partnerships, agree on collaborations, receive mentorship, establish exchange programs in all economic sectors that bi-laterally affect all parties positively.

THE DIGITAL WOMAN

Empowering local indigenous women who constantly brave the odds to ensure their families are fed and protected is a core area of impact for ONDEA and for any government seeking to develop the economy and livelihood of their rural communities. The digital woman program targets women in rural communities, by creating technology centres where they can be educated on more effective use of technology to automate some of their tedious tasks freeing up more time for them. This has always been the PASSION of the FIRST LADY of the State, and she has continually championed this cause since taking up the vital role of the first woman in the state. She will through this program continue to play an active role in women development through the use of technology.

The development and growth of every economy is hinged on the successes of entrepreneurs albeit in manufacturing, service provision, hospitality, agriculture and more. However, building a viril entrepreneurial ecosystem that would stimulate creativity and drive innovation requires a concerted effort by all stakeholders to initiate entrepreneurship from the cradle. ONDEA's MY1AND1 PROGRAM focuses on entrepreneurship development right from the primary education level.

PRESS STATEMENT  Ondo Gets New Accountant-General  ...As Laolu Akindolire retires from service  Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has approved the appointment of Mrs Esther Toyin Oni, FCA, as the new Accountant-General of the State.  The Governor had approved the appointment before proceeding on his vacation. The appointment takes immediate effect.  Mrs Oni is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN) with over thirty years progressive post-qualification experience in both the private and public sectors. She also had a valuable stint in the International Public Service.
