THE ASSOCIATE FELLOWS NETWORK by Royal Commonwealth Society The Associate Fellow Network is a collection of 1,300 youth champions, aged between 18 and 30 who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to promoting the values of the Commonwealth and are working to improve the lives of Commonwealth citizens.   The aim of the Associate Fellow Network is to connect, facilitate and mobilise outstanding young leaders to continue to transform lives at the community level and influence decision makers at all levels so that they may inherit a better world. The Associate Fellow Network is made up of Queen's Young Leaders, Women of the Future and outstanding young change-makers nominated by our International Network. Akure Sunshine Lions Club Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief - to serve their community. Lions have a dynamic history.  Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled. Lions give sight.  By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through our international  SightFirst Program , which works to eradicate blindness.
