MSIF Du Pré Grant enables MS researchers and clinicians from low- and middle-income countries to make short visits (under six months) to established MS research centres

MSIF Grants and Fellowships Application

The Du Pré Grant

The MSIF Du Pré Grant enables MS researchers and clinicians from low- and middle-income countries to make short visits (under six months) to established MS research centres, outside their own country. During the visit, participants either gain expertise or carry out parts of joint research projects. This benefits care for people with MS and supports collaborative research.

The McDonald Fellowship

The McDonald Fellowship enables researchers from low- and middle-income countries to work in a research institution outside of their own country. Following the award, we expect applicants will be able to use the newly developed expertise and networks, continuing to undertake MS research and/or patient care in low- and middle-income countries.

Who can apply?

Please ensure that you are applying from a low- and middle-income country as specified by the World Bank here: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups In other words, if you search for your country or residence/work and it is classified as “high income”, you are unfortunately ineligible. Any other income classification is eligible.
