MSIF Grants and Fellowships Application The Du Pré Grant The MSIF Du Pré Grant enables MS researchers and clinicians from low- and middle-income countries to make short visits (under six months) to established MS research centres, outside their own country. During the visit, participants either gain expertise or carry out parts of joint research projects. This benefits care for people with MS and supports collaborative research. The McDonald Fellowship The McDonald Fellowship enables researchers from low- and middle-income countries to work in a research institution outside of their own country. Following the award, we expect applicants will be able to use the newly developed expertise and networks, continuing to undertake MS research and/or patient care in low- and middle-income countries. Who can apply? Please ensure that you are applying from a low- and middle-income country as specified by the World Bank here:  https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/9

Akure Sunshine Lions Club

Akure Sunshine Lions Club Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief - to serve their community. Lions have a dynamic history.  Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled. Lions give sight.  By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through our international  SightFirst Program , which works to eradicate blindness. Lions serve youth.  Our community projects often  support local children and schools  through scholarships, recreation and mentoring. Internationally, we offer many programs, including the Peace Poster Contest, Y

You can choose to love in this imperfect world.

You have a choice. You have free will. To decide what you will allow to control you. You can choose to love in this imperfect world. You can choose to hate in this end times. Hate is negative, destructive and bad for the body, soul and mind. But love is positive and great for the body, soul and mind. No one in this world has a perfect life.  Some choose to practice loving themselves and loving others.  Some choose to live in the Joy of the Lord. Some choose to forgive those who hurt them, stabbed them in the back, betrayed them. Some choose to trust God and not man. Some choose to stay in the Peace of the Lord and run away from trouble. All these people pass through what everyone pass through, in this jungle of a world. But they Lean on God and not on themselves. Give Jesus a chance and you will find agape love, inner peace, joy in the holy ghost and many more... Jesus loves you. Mrs Olubola Adeleye
